Due to HDCP copyright issues (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection) Netflix /Prime Video / IMDb / Hulu / Disney Plus prohibit the use of the smartphone's Airplay, Screen Mirror and Cast function to connect to projectors, TVs, monitors to play movies. However some other Apps like Youtube can be projected and played directly.
The only solution is having a Fire TV Stick or Roku Streaming Players to connect the projector to watch the contect on Netflix, Prime Video, IMDb, Hulu, Disney Plus.
